Gobbles meets emails, meetings and, finally, a team that notices his effort.
Gobbles adjusts his badge at the office entrance. He notices Thanksgiving decorations and gives the camera a suspicious look.
TURKEY: My first day. Thanksgiving week. Interesting timing.
New hire: Gobbles
He opens a laptop. The inbox count rises; he slowly hides behind the screen.
TURKEY: Two hundred emails? I’ve been here twelve minutes.
Day one. 203 emails.
In a meeting, a slide reads “Pre-meeting alignment.” Gobbles doodles in confusion.
COLLEAGUE: Let’s schedule a follow-up.
TURKEY: To the meeting about the meeting?
Still in the meeting
Gobbles notices fallen project folders and helps a colleague sort them on the floor.
COLLEAGUE: Thanks, Gobbles. You made that so much easier.
A little help. A real thank-you.
An appreciation message appears: “Gobbles—thanks for helping me get organized today!” He proudly straightens his badge.
TURKEY: Oh. You noticed?
COLLEAGUE: Of course. You’re part of the team.
You belong here
Gobbles comfortably joins a team photo and gives the camera a confident nod. Transition to the end card.
TURKEY: I think I’ll fit right in.
VO: Even turkeys deserve appreciation!
